Frederick Lenz, Rama
Frederick Lenz, Rama was a writer, scholar, and an influential teacher of American Buddhism. He received his MA and Ph.D. in English Literature from the State University of New York in Stony Brook. He started his public career as a teacher of meditation in 1981. Soon thousands of people across the United States began to attend his lectures and many of them became his students. Rama’s extensive teachings include formal lectures, as well as informal talks. The On the Road with Rama talks were recorded in 1985 at different power places in the United States.
